Community Events

State Senator Wayne Schmidt, State Representative Larry Inman, Amanda Lick with the Michigan Pharmacists Association and several Charlevoix area pharmacists were present on September 25, 2015, in Traverse City while tributes were presented to Grand Traverse County Sheriff Thomas Bensley and Charlevoix County Sheriff Don Schneider.

Both Sheriff's were recognized for their active roles in their communities related to drug diversion, prescription drug take back programs and communicating/networking on a regular basis with area pharmacists. Sheriff Schneider has hosted a drug diversion program training at his office in the past with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from Charlevoix, Emmet, Otsego and Antrim Counties.
