Juror Reporting Instructions

Parking & Entrances

Parking can be a problem at the Hall of Justice and going through security will take some extra time, so plan on arriving several minutes early for jury duty. The only public entrance into the building is on Washington Street; however, handicapped persons may park and enter the employee's entrance on the west side of the building. A buzzer for handicapped persons is on a pedestal outside the door, which will summon security personnel to open the door.

Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and report to the Probate Court office, suite 223, which will be the 2nd door on the left as you get off the elevator if you have used the elevator to the east. Be sure to know what your round trip mileage is from your home, as the court staff will ask you for this information in order to compensate you for your mileage.

Rules

Once you've checked in at the office, have a seat in the waiting area outside the office until you are called into the courtroom. No laptops, cameras, drinks, newspapers or magazines are allowed in the courtroom, and cell phones must remain off.
