EPIC-GT Upgrade Happened on 6/27!


EPIC-GT, Grand Traverse County's Electronic Permitting and Inspections Center, received an upgrade! This important update will greatly enhance user’s experiences and create efficiencies for staff, better search and faster changes. This upgrade took place effective June 27th, 2025. 

You need to re-register your account after the upgrade! Just navigate to the EPIC-GT portal to go through the process. We appreciate your cooperation in updating your registration. It will help your new permitting and inspections processes happen more quickly and smoothly!

WHAT IS EPIC-GT?

EPIC-GT is Grand Traverse County's Electronic Permitting and Inspections Center. Residents and builders must access this self-service portal for permitting and inspection needs. We developed the portal to streamline communications for users, make applying for permits and inspections easy and to aid in speeding up the approvals process.

BUILDING TOWARDS THE FUTURE...

Learning how to use the self service portal is critical as we move forward with moving all permitting processes online. In the future we will be sunsetting the majority of all paper applications.
