BENJAMIN McMANUS

Current Assignment: Sergeant, Recreational Vehicle Division Supervisor

Benjamin McManus is the 2024 Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Division Employee of the Year. He has been employed full-time with the GTSO since 2005. While at the Sheriff's Office he has had many roles to include community police officer, field training officer, arson investigator, oversight of the peer support team, and Recreational Services Division supervisor. He was promoted to Sergeant in 201 7 where he has continued to excel. He is highly regarded by those he works with and has gained the respect and trust of many inside and outside of our agency.
