In person or online, you can obtain a copy of a traffic crash report completed by the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office or the Traverse City Police Department. Reports can be obtained in the Records Division at the Sgt. Dennis W. Finch Law Enforcement Center located at 851 Woodmere Avenue, Traverse City, MI 49686. Records Division hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (excluding holidays). There is a $5 charge (check, money order or credit card only) for traffic crash reports obtained in the Records Division.
NOTE: Crashes that occur on private property/in parking lots are only available for pickup at the Law Enforcement Center.
