Community Events

The Commission on Aging is involved in many special/community events throughout the county.  We are able to participate in these special events, thanks to the help of countless volunteers.  If you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer, please see our volunteers page.  


Baskets of Bounty

Food, paper products and small gifts are packaged and delivered to senior citizens in need, who will be alone during the holiday season. The Baskets of Bounty program exists due to donations of time and funding from employees, residents, groups and businesses. A huge thanks to all those involved with the Baskets of Bounty program!

Intergenerational Card Program
Each year, local grade school students make holiday cards for our clients. These cards have become a favorite part of the holidays for our clients. Thank you to all of the students who take the time to create these lovely cards.
