Membership to the Senior Center Network is required for participating in most programs but is not required for the lunch program or the travel program. Visit our Trips page for more information on all of our amazing trips!

Members' addresses and phone numbers are not given out and are kept confidential.


  • Access to countless relationships and great friends
  • Access to social and recreational facilities
  • Free or reduced rates on programs
  • Use of computer lab, including high-speed internet access, and printing (Kingsley location)

Membership Fees

As a result of the successful millage election in 2010, there no longer are membership fees for adults 60 and older who live in Grand Traverse County. Membership applications are still required to be filed and should be renewed annually to remain on our mailing lists. Adults under the age of 50-59 or residing out-of-county please refer to the annual fees listed below.


Annual Fees

  • Grand Traverse County Residents Over 60: Free
  • Grand Traverse County Residents Under 50-59: $10 per year, renewed annually
  • Anyone Living Outside of Grand Traverse County: $50 per year, renewed annually

Membership Fund

No senior will be denied access solely based on inability to pay membership fees. Scholarships are available for anyone requesting that membership fees be waived because of financial hardship. We will gladly accept your donation to this fund to support those who cannot make a contribution.

Special Needs

Due to the limitations of the facility and the availability of staff, those participating in Senior Center Network programs should be able to address their own personal needs. Persons with special needs are welcome but must be accompanied by someone able to assist them.
