The Health & Human Services Board meets twice a month, once specifically in regard to Pavilions matters, and once to discuss other issues of the Health & Human Services Board.

Overview

The Human Services Board duties are outlined in Public Act 280, as amended, covering the operation of the County Department of Human Services and the County Medical Care Facility. Membership requires availability and time for involvement with related organizations. The Board was previously formerly the Social Services/FIA Board.

Board members serve 3-year terms. The State of Michigan Director of the Department of Human Services makes 1 appointment.
