Bridge players of all levels are welcome at the Traverse City Senior Center, where friendly games and helpful partners make every session enjoyable. It’s a great way to sharpen your mind, learn new strategies, and connect with others who love the challenge and camaraderie of this classic card game.
Learning Bridge at the Senior Center
The Traverse City Senior Center offers engaging bridge education that helps newcomers learn the basics and gives experienced players a chance to strengthen their skills. Chess Club at the Senior Center
The Traverse City Senior Center chess club welcomes players of every skill level to enjoy thoughtful matches and good company. It’s a relaxed space to learn new tactics, practice your strategy, and connect with others who enjoy the challenge of the game.
Join the club for drop in and play. Facilitators will cover basic rules and etiquette, moves, chess notation, and strategies.
Co-Ed Club Through The Senior Center
Join a vibrant senior group where you help plan the outings-concerts, dinners, day trips and more! It's all about shared adventures, great company, and making memories.

Cribbage at the Senior Center
The Traverse City Senior Center invites cribbage players to gather for friendly games and easy conversation. It’s a great way to enjoy a classic card game, practice your skills, and spend time with others who appreciate a fun, relaxed challenge.
Experience is necessary, as players need to be able to finish eight games within the 3-hour time frame. Each game should be completed in approximately 20 minutes. New members welcome.
Current and Ethical Issues Discussion at the Senior Center
The Current and Ethical Issues Discussion group brings people together for friendly debate on topics ranging from local politics to global concerns. It’s an open, thoughtful space to share perspectives, learn from one another and welcome new voices to the conversation.
